Dr. Papageorgiou: Greetings Janin, we have now found 10 minutes between today’s surgeries to have our conversation.

Janin Pahl: So let’s get started.

Dr. Papageorgiou: As always, I’d like to briefly introduce you to our readers. You are my practice manager and we opened about 3 months ago. Here in the heart of Bern, on Hirschengraben. Our practice focuses on aesthetic plastic surgery and non-investment treatments. And what do you say as a manager, how is the start?

Janin Pahl: All beginnings are difficult, but we are slowly picking up speed. Yesterday we had a full Botox day, today an upper eyelid lift, a mini lipo and a thigh lift for lipoedema. That’s quite something.

Dr. Papageorgiou: Yes, I agree, I am particularly pleased with the increasing number of liposuction procedures. So, now we’ve talked enough about work. How do you like Bern?

Janin Pahl: It’s just like Berlin, only without li. haha.

Dr. Papageorgiou: Thank you for this detailed answer with your very personal touch. You Berliners are known far beyond your borders for your rhetoric, poetry and sociability.

Janin Pahl: All joking aside, I really like Bern. The city is beautiful and so are the landscapes in the immediate vicinity. I don’t live entirely in the city and the change from a big city like Berlin to the quiet life in the countryside is quite special.

Dr. Papageorgiou: You like going for walks, unlike me. What do you like about walking?

Janin Pahl: I find peace and quiet there, especially after a stressful day at work, I switch off when I go for a walk, it’s a kind of buffer zone between work and private life, I can calm down during this time.

Dr. Papageorgiou: I understand that very well.

Janin Pahl: I also really like the much quieter and uncrowded traffic. Basically, Bern moves for me the way a healthy city should move. Hardly any cars, lots of bicycles and a very good public transport network.

Dr. Papageorgiou: The next patient is already on the table. So last question. What do you miss about Berlin?

Janin Pahl: The restaurants!

Dr. Papageorgiou: Thank you for the interview.
